How to read this

The premium is how far an offer's price sits above the spot price on big exchanges. +3% means you pay €103 for €100 worth of bitcoin. It's the price of not handing over ID — and it moves with demand.

Median is the middle offer; best is the cheapest one you could take right now (it may have a high minimum or a payment method you can't use). Negative numbers do happen when a seller wants out quickly.

Paying less

  • Be the maker: post your own offer at a lower premium and wait.
  • Cash by mail or in person often costs more; bank transfers and gift cards usually cost less.
  • Bigger trades often get better prices, but start small with a new counterparty.
  • For Monero, compare the swap route too: buy BTC, then swap or use an atomic swap.

Snapshot data, not an offer to trade. Premiums are calculated against CoinGecko spot prices at the time of each update.
